I have set myself what some would call a “crazy” challenge: Run 100 kilometres by myself in one day on 19 January 2013.
I aim to raise HKD$100,000 – $1,000 for each kilometre – for The Women’s Foundation of Hong Kong, a charity whose aim is to inspire change in the lives of women at many levels. The funds I raise will help to extend the existing programs offered to underprivileged Hong Kong teens by providing a sense of achievement and adventure through physical challenges in Hong Kong’s outdoors.
My aim is to show that through conquering seemingly insurmountable challenges – we can transform our minds, our attitudes and our lives.
My goal is to inspire others, particularly women, to set themself a challenge outside of their comfort zone, and then set about achieving it.
